We seek an experienced Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join our client, supporting multiple Travel brands.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Delivery Management, and Engineering teams, overseeing the organisation and prioritising team backlogs. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects such as feature development, functional enhancements, non-functional requirements (NFR), business as usual (BAU) tasks, addressing technical debt, conducting spikes, and coordinating ceremonies.

As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in eliciting, analysing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing business requirements. Typically, you will take charge of quarterly roadmaps post the Program Increment (PI) planning phase, supporting the teams, maintaining acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with current and future iterations, and preparing backlogs for subsequent cycles.

We are seeking candidates with proven expertise in Agile Delivery, having worked in roles such as Business Analyst, Technical Product Manager, or Technical Product Owner.

This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week in South West London

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse end-to-end requirements, considering the impact of proposed changes from both business and technical perspectives.
Take ownership of the backlog post PI planning sessions, ensuring a well-prepared backlog of stories for the team.
Facilitate pre-sprint activities and prioritize Service Desk items into the backlog.
Deliver clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
Ensure capture, refinement, and prioritization of technical debt and NFRs across all sprints.
Assist in preparing system demos per iteration and contribute to PI demos.
Maintain feature quality and integrity within technical and team boundaries, identifying and addressing risks and dependencies.
Contribute to key Product Management meetings and define metrics for measuring the success and performance of prioritized work.
Establish and foster a community of Technical Product Owners.
Analyse and prioritise Service Desk/BAU barriers and collaborate with Product Management.
Work with teams to identify and capture IT-driven innovation ideas, consolidating across peer groups for review by TPM/TPO and Product Management communities.

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

Demonstrable experience with Agile methodologies, preferably within a Scaled Agile Framework.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to communicate complex ideas clearly across functional and technical departments.
Ability to develop process models, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
Process-oriented with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through, adaptable to changing work environments.
Desirable qualifications include B2C eCommerce experience and familiarity with the Travel Industry.
