As a Tour Director, your primary responsibility is to enhance customer retention and boost tour sales throughout European river cruises. Acting as a brand ambassador, you’ll forge robust relationships with customers, employing impactful presentations and personalised consultations to promote future holidays.
Core Responsibilities:
• Engage with existing customers during European river cruises to promote future holiday sales.
• Utilise effective sales techniques and relationship-building strategies to enhance customer retention and re-booking rates.
• Present captivating and informative destination-focused sessions to customer groups, showcasing the diverse range of holidays available.
• Conduct personalised appointments with customers to address their inquiries and incentivise re-booking while on board.
• Serve as a global brand ambassador delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive brand experience.
• Evaluate service standards and gather customer feedback throughout cruises, promptly reporting any issues or opportunities for improvement to management.
Candidate Requirements:
• Self-assured, optimistic and enthusiastic individual with outstanding customer sales and interaction abilities.
• Demonstrated success in sales, capable of closing deals and meeting targets in customer-centric settings.
• Adaptable and adept at multitasking in dynamic environments while upholding a professional demeanour.
• Proficient in delivering compelling presentations and confidently engaging with customers in direct sales.
• Passionate about travel and excels in fast-paced settings.
• Rapid learner with proficiency across various reservations systems.
Role Requirements:
• Travel onboard European river cruises for approximately 14-20 days per month throughout the sailing season, typically spanning from March to early December, navigating between the fleet of ships.
• Preferably based within a feasible distance from a major UK airport, such as London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW).

• Competitive salary up to £30,000 basic.
• Uncapped bonus structure.
