MBM is delighted to announce an enticing opportunity for the position of TRAVEL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR.
Joining an established Tour Operator, the successful Operations Director will be responsible for the complete customer journey from when a guest/client books their holiday to where the guest touches down at their destination until client feedback post-holiday has been established. Beyond ensuring individual customer expectations are met and exceeded, this role has an operational focus to globally review all holiday brand standards across the areas where they operate with the aim of achieving consistency in quality, service and appearance, resulting in an industry-leading net promoter score.
This role also has an equal weight on safety, security and HR leadership of the full life cycle of the overseas team (currently around 70 seasonal team members).
To be considered for this fantastic Operations Director opportunity, you will already possess ‘best in class” knowledge of customer engagement in a multi-site and international environment, driven by travel or hospitality. You will know how to promote and deliver “service excellence” training to people of varying backgrounds across many different cultures and nationalities.
Most importantly, you will have experience in the travel sector, display great leadership skills and thrive in developing a dedicated travel team. You will be passionate about travel and be a natural organiser and planner.
