As the Trade Marketing Executive you will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager to ensure timely, accurate and effective B2C and Trade campaigns are delivered in accordance with the marketing plans to achieve the UK strategic business objectives.
Trade Marketing Executive Responsibilities will include:
•Brief, execute and evaluate all B2C initiatives and partnership marketing activity on the annual marketing plan within agreed timeframes and budget – including social media, email, DM, press, retail collateral/POS and conferences.
• Be the main contact for the Product Department regarding all copy/brand content that is produced by third party operators.
•Reporting and budget tracking. Analyse activity results and evaluate performance. Use results to make recommendations to enhance future campaigns and activity.
•Work with the design team and agency partners to produce on-brand collateral as required
•Ensure all communications are accurate, on brand, and consistent with marketing positioning and key messaging
•Work closely with all internal and external partners to ensure brand guidelines are interpreted accurately, consistently and adhered to
•Maintain online training websites for 2 different brands and create new websites/modules when required.
•Review all proposed Marketing Requests from the Business Development Managers, ensuring all relevant opportunities are approved based on ROI.
•Work with Marketing Team to ensure all relevant stakeholders are briefed on marketing activity on regular basis
•Manage the Trade Booking Portal and Travel Agent Hub to ensure all content is accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with the Sales Department and Business Development Managers to ensure campaign activity supports sales conversion
Ate least 2 years experience in marketing and ideally travel industry experience is required.
The successful candidate will be a well-organized marketer, able to support other areas of department.
Experience and understanding of trade marketing creative, print production, e-commerce
Strong Copywriting skills
Ability to put yourself in both the consumer and trade mindset
Experience working and briefing agencies or creative departments
Creative, articulate and numeric with a good eye for detail
Excellent verbal and written skills and strong copywriting skills
Outgoing personality to fit in with a vibrant marketing department
Brand obsessed with a desire to plan and implement exciting Trade Marketing
