🚨 Financial Controller | Travel Industry | Leadership Opportunity 🚨
We're recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to join a growing and ambitious travel business.
This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for the full finance function, overseeing financial planning, forecasting, cashflow management, board reporting, statutory compliance, and management accounts. You'll lead a team of finance professionals while working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
✅ Leading and developing the finance team
✅ Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
✅ Ownership of monthly management accounts and board reporting
✅ Managing external compliance, audits, VAT, and industry renewals
✅ Driving process improvements, automation, and systems development
✅ Supporting pricing, commercial decisions, and wider business transformation projects
✅ Building strong relationships across the business as a trusted finance partner
We're looking for:
✔ Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
✔ Previous Financial Controller experience within the travel sector
✔ Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
✔ Commercially minded with excellent analytical capabilities
✔ Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
